Author Guidelines

Authors are invited to submit manuscripts that fall within the scope of Jurnal Gender: Gender and Social Welfare Development. All submissions must follow the guidelines below:

1. General Requirements

• Manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration elsewhere.
• Articles should be written in clear and academic English.
• Manuscripts must align with the journal’s focus and scope.

2. Manuscript Structure

Manuscripts should be organized as follows:

• Title (concise and informative)
• Author(s) name and affiliation
• Abstract (150–250 words)
• Keywords (3–5 words/phrases)
• Introduction
• Literature Review (optional)
• Methods
• Results and Discussion
• Conclusion
• References

3. Formatting Guidelines

• Length: 5,000–8,000 words
• Use A4 paper size, 1.15 line spacing, and standard margins
• Font: Times New Roman, size 12
• Use APA Style (7th edition) for citations and references
• Tables and figures must be properly labeled and cited in the text

4. Submission Process

• Manuscripts must be submitted through the journal’s online submission system (OJS).
• Authors are required to use the journal template.

5. Peer Review Process

• All submitted manuscripts will undergo a double-blind peer review process.
• The editor’s decision is final based on reviewers’ recommendations.

6. Ethical Considerations

• Authors must ensure the absence of plagiarism and unethical practices.
• Proper citation of all sources is mandatory.
• Any conflict of interest must be disclosed.

7. Article Processing Charges (APC)

• This journal does not charge any submission or publication fees (Free APC).
